Introduction Reno is famous for its hospitality and is popularly known as "The Biggest Little City in the World". It is popular for its entertainment theaters, fine dining, top-class performers and gaming activities. Reno is located at the western border of Nevada in the Truckee Meadows, about 20 miles east of the Sierra Nevada Mountains and Lake Tahoe, the second largest alpine lake in the world.
Temperatures in the region are mild, but there are fluctuations between day and night temperatures. The temperature at night during the summer rarely rises above 60 degrees. Reno has a low level of humidity with sunny skies prevalent throughout the year.
